  2. Finding a house. You can visit http://www.realestate.com.au or http://www.domain.com.au to find rental properties in and around the suburb you are looking at settling in.


  3. Finding a Library nearby. You can visit http://www.nla.gov.au/apps/libraries and enter the suburb you live in to find out the nearest library to you. If you don't have a computer and internet access at home, you can book a time at your local library for internet access.


  4. Getting around. Buying a Street-map is really worth it, it is definitely handy! You can visit http://www.whereis.com.au to plan your trip from place A to place B.


  5. Finding someone. Consult http://www.whitepages.com.au to search for someone, or http://www.yellowpages.com.au if you want to search for a business name.


  6. Public Transport. Adelaide is very well connected in terms of public transport (Bus, Tram, Trains etc). Please visit http://www.southaustralia.com/PublicTransport.aspx , it has all the information you need about public transport.


  7. Indian Grocery shops.There are many grocery shops around Adelaide selling Indian groceries, please use the http://www.yellowpages.com.au link to search one near you.


  8. Buying a car.  Buying a car is a personal choice, completely based on your circumstances. Again, searching online (there are many websites  http://www.carpoint.com.au or http://www.carsales.com.au just to quote a few) makes it easy. You can also look at  "Trading Post" (www.tradingpost.com.au/) or Advertiser (http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/)


  9. Adelaide Ganesha Temple (http://www.adelaidetemple.org, this website ,unfortunately seems to be down at the moment..) is located at
